National Trophy, Round 5, Shrewsbury

So far this year, all the National Trophy rounds have been pretty much dry and fast. Maybe it was the overnight rain, or maybe it just hasn’t dried out since the mud bath at the nationals last year, but Shrewsbury finally brought some slippery conditions. The Shrewsbury course is a popular one amongst the riders, and has a number of tricky off camber sections, deep ruts and wooded singletrack. The slippery conditions are a welcome test ahead of the Nationals in Bradford, a notoriously heavy and muddy course. A large gallery from Shrewsbury will be posted on the Cyclocross Handbook Facebook later in the week, so be sure to give it a Like to stay up to date with everything going on. Thanks for looking.
