National Trophy Round 3, Hetton Lyons Park
The Hetton Lyons course was one of the best National Trophy courses I’ve been to. It had a bit of everything so didn’t suit any one particular riding style. The run up and sweeping off camber turns wouldn’t be out of place on a World Cup course and were a pleasure to watch and photograph. Two thumbs up Hetton Lyons! My only slight complaint is that Cyclocross Handbook is based quite a long way away, and consequently, A. Can’t go to the region more often, and B. Didn’t make it in time to cover the Vet’s racing. Apologies Vets. To stay up to date with everything on the site, head over to the Cyclocross Handbook Facebook page and give it a like. To see other National Trophy posts on the site, go HERE.
