Lincolnshire League Round 6, Abbey Farm, Lincolnshire

Cyclocross Handbook is drawn to idiosyncratic courses, so an old fashioned pancake flat course round a ruined Abbey seemed perfect. As well as being bleak AF, the surrounding countryside was very beautiful. The wind blew and the rain rained and it was very atmospheric. This atmosphere can partly be attributed to the landscape, and partly to the fact that the Abbey is almost definitely haunted. This is the first time I’ve been to the Lincolnshire League, so thanks for having me. Thanks as always to the organisers for putting on a great event, I hope they got the tape in before it got dark, I wouldn’t want to be out there at night. No way, it’s spooky. Head over to the FACEBOOK PAGE, and give it a like if you haven’t already. There’ll be a full gallery from the racing on there later in the week. Thanks for looking and please share!
